Post-federal Budget Luncheon with the Hon. Eleanor Olszewski
November 6, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (MST)
Description
Canada's economy has weathered successive storms that have tested Canadians and economies in every province.
Join the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce at the Royal Mayfair Golf Club on November 6 as we host the Hon. Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for Prairies Economic Development Canada, to discuss Canada's Budget 2026.
A new high-speed rail line connecting Edmonton and Calgary, the Pacific Link oil pipeline, action against predatory U.S. tariffs: the federal government has taken significant, decisive steps on policy and projects that will have enormous impacts on the entire Canadian economy. This event gives attendees the chance to hear directly from a local voice who has been in the rooms where these consequential decisions were made.
With the federal budget set to be tabled in the coming weeks, this event is an opportunity to learn what it means for Albertans and where opportunities may lie for Edmonton businesses.
